Merit Badge Test and Answers
Scout Leaders,
Crab Apple has developed a basic, fifteen question test corresponding to what
scouts learn from their guides while working on their Whitewater Merit Badge.
Please feel free to print it out and ask the boys to complete it at an upcoming
troop meeting. Our suggestion is to require twelve (12) correct answers in order
to pass (80%). These tests are for your own use and do not need to be sent to
Crab Apple or the BSA.
We hope that your troop enjoyed your day on the river with Crab Apple and
that the Whitewater Merit Badge work made the day productive and fun. We look
forward to seeing your troop again on some bigger whitewater or introducing new
scouts in your troop to easier rapids and the Whitewater Merit Badge.
Again, please note that the Whitewater Merit Badge includes both First Aid
and Canoeing skills making both the First Aid and Canoe Merit Badge
pre-requisites for the Whitewater merit Badge.
